Triple Chocolate Mousse
These little individual mousse cakes are super cute, super easy and a sure fire way to impress your friends at your next dinner party!
Made with our Chocolate Éclair Ice Cream, they're pretty hard to beat!
Ingredients
Chocolate Oreos
1 Packet
Butter
20g
White Chocolate
150g
Dark Chocolate
150g
Cream
2 + 1/2 Cups
Gelatine
2 Teaspoons
Cold Water
4 Tablespoons
Method
For the base:
Blend Oreos into fine crumb, melt butter, mix together & spoon into moulds.
For the mousse filling:
Mix 1 teaspoon of gelatine in a small dish with 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it swell for 5-10 minutes then melt in the microwave for 20 seconds, set aside.
Melt dark chocolate with 1/4 cup runny cream & mix in the melted gelatine.
Finally, whip 1 cup of cream into stiff peaks, fold in chocolate mixture and pour into moulds. Repeat the same process with white chocolate.
To serve:
Dust with cocoa & serve with a GENEROUS scoop of DEEP SOUTH Chocolate Eclair ice cream.
